**FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY AUDITOR - THIRD SHIFT - AUSTIN PLANT** This position reports to Alfonso Espinoza, Food Safety and Quality Supervisor-Austin Plant. This FSQ Auditor position covers vacation relief for FSQ Auditors. The work schedule for this position is variable day including Monday-Friday and Sunday-Thursday. The actual hours may be adjusted from this and will be discussed during the interview. The base hiring pay range starting rate for this role is $24.85 per hour._ **RESPONSIBILITIES:** The person in this position: + Performs pre-operative inspection of facility and determines acceptability of sanitation process. + Represents company in USDA relations during pre-operative inspections. + Reviews label verification, weight control, and package integrity paperwork. + Works with programs such as AS400, Citrix, IQS weight control, Lab Vantage, Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.. + Recaps audit information and other data collected on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. + Assists FSQ Supervision in tasks and projects. + Handles miscellaneous tasks or duties assigned by FSQ management. **QUALIFICATIONS:** Required + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work well independently and as a team member. + Demonstrated problem solving skills. + Good computer skills including Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel. + The ability to withstand long periods of time working on your feet and walking on damp slippery floors. + The ability to work in a wet and climate-controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 30-40°F. **Hormel Foods Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
