As a Buffet Server, you will be responsible for transporting food and other products from one location within the facility to another. Whether you want to work for a season or make the Grand Canyon your home, we have opportunities for anyone wanting to live and work in a National Park! + Variety of low cost housing available for $50 - $75/ week including wi-fi, satellite TV, and all utilities + Free laundry facilities + Healthy work-life balance + Community recreation center with gym and monthly outings + Tons of activities with the South Rim of the Canyon only minutes away including camping, hiking, river rafting, star-gazing, and museums **What will you do?** + Greet guests and provide excellent customer service while serving food from the buffet line. + Open and close areas, retrieve food and stock supplies to maintain inventory. + Clean and organize service and kitchen areas and wash dishes. + Bus tables, sweep, mop, dust, and clean up spills and empty garbage in a sanitary manner. + Must move rapidly and coordinate multiple food orders with sense of urgency. + Other duties as assigned. **More about you** + Previous related experience in a fast paced guest service environment preferred. + Ability to clearly communicate with guests and staff, work independently and in a team. + Should enjoy working with people and food with great attention to detail. + No experience or diploma required **Physical requirements** + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. + Ability to work in hot and damp kitchen environment with variable temperatures. + Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions, occasional use of stairs. + Exposure to, and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize areas, surfaces and equipment. **Shift details** Day shift Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends Overtime as needed **Who we are** Delaware North's operations in Grand Canyon National Park offer the opportunity to experience living and working in one of the natural wonders of the world.
